Very scarce arts newspaper from NC. Contains an interview with William S. Burroughs by Tom Patterson entitled "The Literary Outlaw and the Lemurs: William S. Burroughs Among the Prosimians and Other Primates of Durham, NC", accompanied by multiple photos of Burroughs at the Duke University Primate Center (visiting with his friend William H. Rich), pp. 4-9. 

The cover photo is of Burroughs.

Published in Asheville, NC. by The Arts Journal in June, 1989.

Burroughs encouraged the raising of funds for the DUPC in his book Last Words, noting on June 17, 1997: “Must send a check to the Primate Center for the lemurs, how I love them!”. Lemurs are central to his book Ghost of Chance.
