Beat Scene, Issue 58, Spring 2009
This contains “The Girl That Kissed the Gun and the Bullet That Ate Her: The Life of Joan Vollmer” [an unfortunate title, IMO] by Christopher Carmona, pp. 4-7, on William S. Burroughs 2nd (common law) wife.
At page 57 is a review by Brian Dalton of Jack Sargeant’s Naked Lens: Beat Cinema, a book with a significant section on Burroughs. This is next to a review of an exhibition of Charles Gatewood’s photos.
Published in Binley Woods, England by Beat Scene Press in Spring of 2009.
This copy was acquired from Third Mind Books (Ann Arbor, Michigan, US).
