Beat Scene, Issue 30, n.d. [Winter (early) 1998]

Burroughs has a few small mentions in essays in this issue, but is well-represented in the news and reviews.

The "Beats & Co." news section compiled by Pauline Reeves, Todd Bauer, and Dan Barth notes the release of the The Best of William Burroughs CD set from Giorno Poetry Systems, a "William Burroughs/John Cage 'Chance Encounter'" event at Keele University Art Gallery on May 23, 1998, and a "Burroughs event" at The Band on the Wall, in Manchester, in August 1998.

Kevin Ring offers a full-page review of Graham Caveney's The Priest They Called Him: The Life and Legacy of William S. Burroughs at page 46.

Brian Dalton's review of Timothy S. Murphy's Wising Up the Marks: The Amodern William Burroughs is at page 58, with a photo of Burroughs by Jon Blumb.

Pauline Reeves reviews My Kind of Angel: I. M. William Burroughs, edited by Rupert Lydell, at page 60, accompanied by an illustration of Burroughs by Dennis McCambridge.

Kevin Ring reviews Victor Bockris' With William Burroughs: Private Conversations with a Modern Genius at page 62 [which is the UK version of With William Burroughs: A Report from the Bunker].

Published in Binley Woods, England by Beat Scene Press in early 1998.
