Poetry Motel, Issue 18, Summer-Fall 1992

This issue includes poet Robert Peters’ “A Visit with William Burroughs,” pp. 1802–1808.

Also included is poet Charles Plymell’s “Postscript to Robert Peters’ Visit with William Burroughs,” pp. 1809–1811. A (poor) reproduction of one of Burroughs' paintings is on the first page.

This was published in Duluth, Minnesota, US, by Suburban Wilderness Press in the summer of 1992. The covers are made of wallpaper, with hand-painted detail.

This copy of Poetry Motel was formerly owned by Jim McCrary, poet, Burroughs office manager, and friend of Burroughs. This was acquired from Jim McCrary directly during a visit to Lawrence, Kansas, US.

The Robert Peters text was published separately, without the Plymell postscript, in a limited edition of 20 signed and numbered copies. Copy #5, inscribed to James Grauerholz, is in the archives.
