Burroughs appears on the cover of this issue, with the title "The Art of Being William Burroughs".

At pages 20-21, Ian McFadyen [sic, MacFadyen] contributes "Lonesome Cowboy Bill", an interview with Burroughs. This is accompanied by an uncredited photo of Burroughs and a reproduction of Burroughs' artwork "Research Animal".

On page 86, Mark Currah reviews the exhibition at the October Gallery (London) of William S. Burroughs and Keith Haring.
