In the article by Craig Owens entitled “Sects and Language”, pp. 11-13 & 15-16, Burroughs is mentioned as a participant in the Conference on Sex and Language at New York City’s Plaza Hotel, sponsored by the International Freudian Movement. A photo of Burroughs appears on page 13, noted as “Prophet of the Apocalypse”.
